Footballer Cheick Tiote admits he has 2 wives & a mistress- but wife No.1 fainted when she found out on FB

A married Premier League footballer who already has three children by his wife and mistress has just taken a second bride in his native Cote'Ivoire. (pictured with second wife, Doukrou Laeticia )

Cheick Tiote, 28, who earns £45,000 a week playing for Newcastle United, reportedly wed Laeticia Doukrou in a traditional ceremony earlier this month, saying taking another wife was 'nothing unusual' given he is a Muslim.

But news of the second wedding came as a surprise to his first wife, Madah, 25, who is said to have only found out about it on Facebook. Madah, who lives with Tiote and their two children in a £1.5m house in a village outside Newcastle, reportedly fainted with shock when she saw the photographs of her husband marrying another woman.

Photo: Two Nigerian sex slaves rescued in Burkina Faso

Two teenage Nigerian girls, Rejoice Chioma Israel, 16, (centre) and Rosemary ‎Uchenna Emmanuel, 19 (right), who were trafficked to Burkina Faso to become sex workers in the country have been rescued, PM News reports.

The two girls left Nigeria on 11 July with a man who promised to take them to Malaysia via Burkina Faso for a better life. The trafficker explained to them that they will be given fresh passports and some vaccines in Burkina Faso before proceeding to Malaysia for well paid jobs.

But once in Ouagadugu, the capital of Burkina Faso, they were handed over to a Nigerian woman called Onome who introduced them to prostitution.

Lagos State Government Seizes September Salaries Of Doctors For The Second Month In A Row

The Lagos State Government has seized the September salaries of medical doctors in the State over a nationwide strike by the Nigerian Association (NMA) in July. The punitive seizure is in addition to their August salaries it had similarly held on to, citing their participation in the last nationwide strike.

The NMA embarked on the nationwide strike after they said talks with the government failed over long standing industrial issues. During their strike, the Federal Government also announced the suspension of Residency Training in the health sector, consequent upon which it sacked all the Resident Doctors. Galadiman Kano Is Dead

A top member of Kano Emirate and close associate of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, Alhaji Tijani Hashim is dead. 

Hashim, who is Galadiman Kano,   died in Abuja last night and will be buried in Kano today at 2pm according to family sources.

He was among heirs to the Kano throne that contested for the stool after the death of Emir Ado Bayero.
