All good things come to an end and so it was with the first season of Game On, the Malta Guinness-powered reality series to find Naijas’ true passion. The thrilling show kicked off with an opening round of jokes and banter by humour merchants, Owen Gee and Lepacious Bose who after getting the audience in stitches handed over to another king of comedy Gordons, the official; host of the night.

He used to be a woman. Born in Lagos Nigeria. Now living in the US as Rizi Xavier Timane, a man. In an interview with Ebony, he reflects on his journey to living his truth, and the burden that comes with doing it in a country (US) that doesn't value 'Black men'.

I was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and I was assigned the female gender at birth. Both of these facts amounted to one thing: I had no power, no respect, and no privilege, nor would I have much of any of these throughout my life. Add in that I came from a less than wealthy family and was, for all intents and purposes, a lesbian, and I became a truly invisible human being; when I wasn’t being ridiculed or abused, I basically did not exist.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied the concocted story by former Minister of State for Defence Musiliu Obanikoro that the party's presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, was pelted with stone during the party's rally in Lagos, saying a lie has never worn a bolder face.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said Gen. Buhari and other top leaders of the APC rode in a open bus from the Palace of the Oba of Lagos to the Teslim Balogun Stadium venue of the rally, to great cheers from Lagosians who lined the route.

Chief Moses Okoye, the father of Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square fame was buried today, Friday, 30 January, 2015 at his hometown in Ifitedunu, Anambra State. His last journey home started on Thursday with a Service of Songs. After the event, P-Square paid a courtesy visit to the monarch of the village. On Friday, the burial mass was held at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Ifitedunu. Security for the event was marshalled by Golden Events Solution team led by Mambo Adeniyi, P-Square’s official bodyguard. See the photos after the cut...

So here's what happened. A few days ago, MTO did a post on one of 50 Cent's former girlfriends, named Holly. When the rapper saw the post, he reposted it on his instagram labeling her community Puzzy. When Holly saw what 50cent put on instagram, she got into a nasty fight with him and made some shocking claims. She said 50 Cent physically assaulted. When some followers didn't believe her, Holly then posted messages between herself and 50 Cent where she threatened to release pictures of her battered body. See it after the cut...

Former Minister of state Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, who resigned his position in October 2014 to pursue his governorship ambition in Lagos state which he lost, and six others have been nominated to be Ministers by President Jonathan. A list of the seven nominees was sent to the senate earlier today for screening and confirmation. Kenneth Kobani from Rivers state and Patricia Akwashiki from Nasarawa state also made the list.

Shopkeeper who saved lives at Paris supermarket terror attack given heroic welcome to Mali

Lassana Bathily, the 24 year old Malian-born employee who saved the lives of several shoppers at Kosher supermarket during the Paris attack that left 4 dead on Jan. 9th was given a heroic welcome in Mali yesterday, 9 years after he left his birth country for France.
Lassana was welcomed by Malian government officials led by the Malian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cheickkna Kamissoko. He and his father later had lunch with the Malian French Ambassador at the french embassy in Mali.

Wife of Nollywood actor, Jide kosoko, Henrietta Kosoko, was involved in accident along Sagamu Abeokuta road this afternoon. She was traveling in her grey color SUV when her car veered off the road and hit a standing PHCN pole. Residents came to her rescue and and rushed her to the hospital.

"She's been taken to Lajoro Hospital in Abeokuta. God took total control". Her husband confirmed!

Notorious former music exec Suge Knight has been arrested after fatally running down a friend on the set of the movie, 'Straight Outta Compton' after getting into a fight with security. He reportedly then backed up over the men he hit as he fled the scene. Full report from TMZ below..

Multiple witnesses tell us a movie shoot -- involving Ice Cube and Dr. Dre -- was going down when Suge pulled up in his car. We're told security told Suge to leave and that's when trouble began.

A fight broke out between Suge and 2 men. Suge got back into his car, took the wheel and threw the vehicle in reverse ... and ran over a man who suffered fatal injuries.

Jordan 'says it will hang all ISIS captives' if group kills Jordanian pilot captured in Syria

Jordanian pilot First Lieutenant Mu'ath Safi Yousef al-Kaseasbeh was captured by ISIS militants in December after his plane was shot down while he was conducting airstrikes over Syria. Now Jordan has threatened to kill all ISIS prisoners in their country if Mu'ath is killed by ISIS.

So according to reports, Johnny Depp, 51, is getting ready to marry his girlfriend, Amber Heard, 28, next weekend on his private Bahamian Island. According to Page Six, the wedding will hold over the weekend of February 7-8 and about 50 guests have been invited to the wedding.

Johnny began officially dating Amber Heard in 2012, a few weeks after he announced his separation from French actress and singer Vanessa Paradis, the mother of his two children.

I told y'all a few days ago that workers of the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, are currently protesting against the management of the hotel. Here are exclusive pics from their protest right in front of their hotel. The workers are alleging maltreatment, poor salaries and sacking of staff without any genuine reason as part of the reasons for the protest.

A staff told CFB that what angered them even more was the recent deduction of N7,500 from their salary due to a claim from management that workers have been overpaid for 5 years. They said there is disregard for their rights and unjust exploitation of their services hence disregard for their effort and hard work. The workers said they've had enough and are demanding change from management. They are now insisting on an association to help them fight for their rights. More pics after the cut..

The young man pictured above was involved in a ghastly car accident and was rushed to St Nicholas hospital in Lagos where he is currently in a coma and no relative has come to the hospital to check on him.
