Passenger captures moment a 'UFO' overtakes his plane during take-off from JFK airport

This is the moment a passenger aboard a Virgin Atlantic flight captured what he claims is a 'UFO' overtaking his flight during take-off from New York JFK airport. The footage which was shot on July 7th, shows a peculiar object flying past the plane at high speed.

The object comes behind from the aeroplane's tail, and moves like a bird but it's not a bird. The passenger and some others think the object may be an extraterrestrial craft aka Alien plane. Some don't believe it. See more photos after the cut and tell us what you think it is..

Army to review case of soldiers condemned to death for mutiny

The Nigerian Army has ordered a review of the courts-martial of more than 600 soldiers and officers condemned to death for mutiny and deserting the battle against Boko Haram in the North East.

AP reports that a statement released signed by army administrator, Maj. Gen. A. B. Abubakar yesterday August 2nd, states that all the accused and condemned soldiers will appear before a committee that will sit and review their cases in Kaduna state from Aug. 7 to Aug. 24.

The soldiers had at different times revolted against their commanders over lack of weapons to fight Boko Haram members. Seems like former Chief of Defense Staff Alex Badeh now agrees with them.

The leader of Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau is missing in a new video released by the sect today August 3rd. The 8 minutes video shows an unidentified young man speaking in the name of the Islamic State in West Africa and calling on people to be patient:

"We are still present everywhere we had been before.". he said

The video showed the sect members attacking a security checkpoint, seizing weapons, and slitting the throat of a man dressed in police uniform.

NAFDAC boss interrogated by EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC today interrogated the Director General of NAFDAC, Paul Orhii, over allegations of fraud. Mr Orhii is being investigated for allegedly awarding contracts to companies he has interest in. He arrived the commission's headquarters in Abuja this morning at about 10am and is currently being interrogated.
