Pregnant Women Rescued From Kidnappers Hideout In the Adigbe Area Of Abeokuta

As the uproar over the discovery of a kidnappers’ den at Soka area, Ibadan, in Oyo State, is yet to die down. Four pregnant women have been rescued from another kidnappers den in Abeokuta.

SaharaReporters has learned that one of the four pregnant women kidnapped from Abia state escaped from the house, and had alerted the residents of the area to call police for the rescue of the other women.

Residents in the Adigbe Area in Abeokuta quickly alerted the Nigeria Police, and shortly after their arrival, invaded the house. Once inside, they rescued the three  other pregnant women in the house. But only one of the kidnappers was arrested, while the others had reportedly escaped.

The house was later set ablaze by residents in the area. The other pregnant women and the lone kidnapper were taken to the Adigbe Police Station in Abeokuta.
